Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 25, 2015 … Hendrick Construction has started construction on Cedar Flats in Uptown Charlotte for owners Delray Ventures, LLC and The Boulevard Company. With 82 units, Cedar Flats will be a boutique apartment community offering easy access to the many entertainment and dining options in the center city.
“Cedar Flats will provide its residents with a more intimate setting over the traditional 200-plus unit complexes that have flooded the Charlotte apartment market,” said Daniel Jimenez, principal of Delray Ventures, LLC and managing partner for The Boulevard Company. “For this reason, we believe our project will be a great addition to the uptown Charlotte rental options.”
Located within the Gateway sub-market at 225 N. Cedar Street, Cedar Flats will offer a mix of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans with large balconies, quartz countertops and glass tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, luxury vinyl plank flooring, European-style cabinetry and beautiful views of the uptown Charlotte skyline. Leasing will start in January, 2016, with the first units available for residents to move into by the end of the first quarter.
