Cary, N.C., May 22, 2017 … Hendrick Construction recently started construction of a 105-room hotel in Cary, N.C. The Courtyard by Marriott located in Parkside Town Commons, a mixed-use development featuring retail, dining, entertainment venues and more.
Located at 1008 Parkside Main Street, the Courtyard by Marriott is expected to open late summer of 2018. The hotel will feature a swimming pool and three large conference and meeting rooms.
“Parkside Town Commons is a dynamic location with a lot to offer a visitor,” said Roger Hendrick, president of Hendrick Construction. “Travels for both business and leisure will find everything to enjoy, from dining to shopping and entertainment, all in a lovely setting.”
Cary has been winning rave reviews and attracting attention nationwide recently. The town led the list of SmartAsset’s “Top 10 Boomtowns of 2016” that evaluated 572 metro areas across the country. It scored 100 percent based on several criteria, including net migration rate, housing growth, unemployment, 2015-2016 change in unemployment and GDP growth. The only other city in N.C. to make the list was Raleigh, in the tenth spot.
Just last month, the NCAA announced that Cary’s WakeMed Soccer Park will host the men’s and women’s College Cups. The site will alternate hosting the two over the next four years straight.
