HENDRICK CONSTRUCTION WINS NATIONAL SAFETY AWARD

Charlotte,N.C., March 12, 2013 … The Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC)announced today that Hendrick Construction,Inc. received a 2012 National Safety Excellence Award. The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies who exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee. Hendrick Construction was the only Excellence Award winner in the 50,000 to 100,000 annual work hours category.

 
The 2012 National Safety Excellence Awards were presented Feb. 20 during the 23rd annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Ft.Lauderdale, Fla.
 
The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards – the highest safety award presented by the organization – recognize companies with exemplary safety performance and programs,as well as companies that exhibit a continued commitment to job site safety. Hendrick was one of 35 ABC contractor members nationwide out of almost 22,000 to receive the award.

This is the third time in its decade-long existence that Hendrick Construction has been honored with a National Safety Excellence Award from the ABC. Hendrick was also honored in 2011 and 2008.
