Quality Control

Hendrick’s quality control program is designed to assure quality construction. From start to finish, equipment, supplies and materials are carefully monitored to ensure compliance with standards, contract drawings and specifications.

Hendrick conducts preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to the start of work to confirm correct drawings and discuss schedule and issues that affect quality.

An ongoing deficiency log enables swift follow up and closure of unacceptable items or work. The on-site Hendrick project team meets weekly with sub-contractors and has the authority to intercede directly and stop unsatisfactory work or prevent further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming material. Client representatives are kept apprised of the quality progress and welcome to join on-site meetings as they desire.

Hendrick uses PlanGrid software to track quality issues on the job site and in the field. This platform provides real-time updates and seamless file synching via Wi-Fi and cellular networks. PlanGrid replaces paper blueprints, brings the benefits of version control to field workers, and is a collaborative platform for sharing important information.

Hendrick’s quality control program is based on prevention rather than correction. Every possible step is taken to avert errors, omissions, discrepancies and deficiencies. All drawings, specifications, and bid documents are carefully reviewed. An ongoing monitoring of trades and materials assures the highest quality of craftsmanship performance.
