HENDRICK CONSTRUCTION WINS NATIONAL SAFETY AWARD

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 20, 2014 … The Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced today that Hendrick Construction, Inc. has been recertified for its Safety, Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program. Hendrick Construction received a 2012 National Safety Excellence Award, recognizing its continued commitment to jobsite safety and exemplary safety performance and programs. That  was the third time in its 11-year existence that Hendrick Construction was been honored with a National Safety Excellence Award from the ABC. Hendrick was also honored in 2011 and 2008. 
 
Established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee, the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors.
